Street Sightseeing

Our city streets are filled with fascinating signs of the past, both real and imagined. The streets of London, Paris, Rome and New York for instance not only have ancient obelisks from Egypt, they also have Egyptian Revivalist architecture. Buildings with architectural features and decorations inspired by ancient Egypt. Ancient Greece and Rome have also inspired architectural movements, Neoclassicism probably the most well known. Watch out for the Caryatids and Quadrigas.
