Interactive Map of Roman Sites & Museums in France
Using the Interactive Map
The following map of Roman sites and museums in France has been made in such a way to allow you to do at least two things with it.
First, you can use it to get streetviews of many of the sites pinpointed, and even go inside the grounds of some of them. Start by choosing a site to explore from the legend below the map. When you click on its name an information panel will pop up. Then switch the map to satellite mode (top left), and zoom in quite a bit (using the +/- buttons in the bottom right). Once you can make out the site drag the yellow pegman (bottom right) onto the map and drop it on to a light blue line (for streetview) or dot (for a 360 degree panorama photograph). And away you go!
You can also use this map to create a personalised itinerary for a trip to France, as well as travel lists (bucket lists, places you have been to etc.). You can see how this is done by watching our Using the Itinerary video, or reading the Using the Itinerary page.
You can use other pages and maps on this website to add other attractions to your itinerary and lists. Start by looking for other sites and museums in France in our France Travel Guide.
