The Great Bath the Roman Baths lit up for visitors at night.

Torchlit Summer Evenings at the Roman Baths in Bath, England

Each summer, the Roman Baths in Bath, Somerset, open their doors to late night visitors who can explore them from a different perspective, without the usual crowds but rather by the soft glow of firelight. An experience that creates a whole new way to experience this ancient place. The baths are the only hot spring in England, with the water coming out of the ground at an incredible 46 C, their history dating back to the Iron Age. This summer, Sarah and her son went back for a second time to see the site by torchlight.
